Welcome Dee Healey

We are thrilled to introduce you to our new Executive Officer, Dee Healey.

Dee commenced this week undertaking the important role of leading our vital local food relief service into the future.

Our Board sought an individual who embodies the values and spirit of our community-driven service.

Dee is a local person who comes with an impressive background in the not-for-profit sector, has experience in government policy, governance, tender writing and financial planning and has led teams of staff across multiple major projects.

It is an exciting time to have an individual of Dee’s experience joining the Shepparton Foodshare team. We have just re-located to our own purpose-built food relief warehouse and distribution centre and are currently working on the new Strategic Plan to guide our direction and harness opportunities.

Whilst the provision of food relief remains firmly at the heart of our decision making, we feel we are now ready to make the most of these opportunities for our service and our community.

Dee said, “I’m thrilled to be appointed Executive Officer of such a wonderful community driven organization. I’m really looking forward to meeting our supporters and working with them to continue to meet the growing need for food relief in our community.”
