Join the Shepparton Foodshare Team

If you can spare from 3 to 15 hours each week on a Monday to Thursday morning to volunteer at Shepparton Foodshare, we would like to hear from you.

The majority of hours required to operate Shepparton Foodshare are provided by volunteers.  The dedicated, fun and caring team of volunteers help ensure much needed food relief can be provided to our diverse community.  

 

Volunteers assist in Foodshare's busy warehouse receiving and processing food donations, sorting food rescues, packing food boxes and orders, stock movement and control, ensuring food is stored according to regulation guidelines and some head out in our van for food rescues.
 

Requirements To Volunteer At Shepparton Foodshare - 
 

• Physically fit, able to lift, work on your feet and manoeuvre around our busy warehouse

• Current drivers licence (optional, however essential if volunteering in the food rescue van)

• Current forklift licence (optional, however essential if operating the forklift)

• Hold a current police check (less than 6 months old, alternatively a new police check is required and can be applied for as part of the Foodshare volunteer application process)
