How good is a Burger Day at school!

That was what the students at Mooroopna Primary School recently enjoyed. This was all made possible by Provincial Food Group.

Provincial's beef burgers were snapped up by chef Dave at Mooroopna Primary School during a regular collection from Foodshare for a ‘cheese burger day’. The students gave this a big thumbs up and say thank you Tom and Mark!

Here is what Tom and Mark of Provincial Food Group had to say about their support of Shepparton Foodshare …

“We are a local business providing quality value-added meat products to industry in Shepparton and the region. With partners like Foodshare, we know that we can trust that we can provide great, premium food to locals that need help. Working with Graeme and the team has been tremendous. Their service, logistics and their ability to scale and distribute food to people in need across a wide region, is remarkable. We love supporting Foodshare, and the Greater Shepparton community. “

Shepparton Foodshare relies on donations of food from local businesses like Provincial that enables us to distribute food for free to schools, emergency relief agencies, neighbourhood houses, faith organisations and community meals programs for the people they support.

You can find out more about donating food to Shepparton Foodshare and in turn supporting schools like Mooroopna Primary School that collect our food by visiting the 'You Can Help' page on our website here.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate —
the Yorta Yorta people
, and we pay our deep respects to their Elders past and present.

We also extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

.

This is Yorta Yorta Country — a place of deep cultural significance and belonging, where the rivers meet, and where knowledge, stories, and food have been passed down for countless generations.

May we walk together with respect, learn from the wisdom of Country, and continue to support one another with the same generosity and spirit that has always lived on this land.
