Freemasons Make A Difference

Freemasons making a difference to food security in our community

The local Freemasons Clubs, together with the Freemasons Foundation of Victoria, have been wonderful supporters of Shepparton Foodshare for many years.

Their support has taken many forms — from funding that has helped cover important operational costs, to a grant towards the purchase of a new food rescue truck and funding to fit out our commercial kitchen.

Each contribution has made a real and lasting difference to our ability to rescue and distribute surplus food and, importantly, help improve food security for people across our community.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming members from several local Freemasons Clubs to Shepparton Foodshare for a tour of our facility. It was a wonderful opportunity to provide a first-hand look at the work their support helps make possible, share more about our food rescue operations and discuss the impact of their ongoing partnership.

We are incredibly grateful to the Freemasons for their continued commitment to supporting our community and helping us ensure more good food reaches the people who need it.
