A milestone, a Farewell and a Hello!

You know we like to mark an occasion at Shepparton Foodshare, well recently we did it x 3!!

We said farewell to our Warehouse Co-ordinator Matt Dowling. We are sad to see Matt leave, it has been fantastic having him part of the team taking on the role just as our community was in crisis due to the foods and supporting flood recovery and daily food relief needs ever since.

With Matt heading off for the next chapter we welcomed Mel to the role. Mel is enthusiastic and looking forward to meeting you so when collecting your orders please introduce yourself and say hello.

Today we also celebrated a milestone with the team, a food distribution milestone. With our partner's and community’s support we have now distributed an incredible 4 MILLION KILOGRAMS of food to people in need across the Goulburn Valley and beyond, that’s the equivalent of 8 MILLION MEALS! To help us celebrate the important milestone, Tegan from Tegan's Custom Cakes made this amazing and delicious cake to mark the milestone and for the Foodshare team to enjoy.
